Y3 – Finca de Osorio

On Tuesday 26th March, Year 3 pupils enjoyed a pleasant day at the Finca de Osorio (Osorio Estate).

Pupils learned about the indigenous flora in the Canary Isles, such as the laurisilva forest.  We also learned about the typical fauna present in the islands, such as shrew and wood pigeons.

We made a visit to the old farmhouse at the Finca de Osorio and learned about the legend surrounding its history.

The weather was unfortunately not on our side and we were unable to take part in some of the outdoor games we had planned.  However, a fun time was had by all and we enjoyed a memorable and cheerful excursion in the company of classmates and teachers.
