Summer School Details

This is our 28th Summer School and aims as always to encourage quality spoken and written English in a secure and fun-based environment. The program combines and balances classroom based learning (50% of day) and activities (50% of day).

Students experience interactive learning and practice using the Internet to support classroom activities.

Classroom-based English – The class-based English is age and ability appropriate and taught via a themed approach. The emphasis is to develop both written and spoken English confidence.

Sports activities – We encourage team building and co-operation via sports activities such as basketball, volleyball, football, cricket, tennis, and parachute games.

Music – students learn popular songs and rhymes to help them learn the English language.

Art and Craft sessions – build on the class-based themes and encourage the creative aspect of learning. Activities include painting, junk modeling and collage work.

Cooking sessions (weekly) – focus on creating simple dishes that the students can reproduce at home. All recipes, in English, are sent home weekly if parents are interested in repeating the activity at home in English.
