On the 6th February 2019 our KS3 & 4 boys took part in a basketball tournament.

The tournament was made up of teams from Oakley, British, Canterbury and German School. Our boys performed really well as a team.

In the KS4 tournament, we found ourselves up against the British School in our opening match. The confidence of Ismael A. and Juan E. shone through at all times and it rubbed off on the rest of our team as many started to show their true potential. Victor B. scored a basket shortly after coming on from the bench in a convincing win over our nearest rivals. In the final, we found ourselves against Canterbury. We took the lead early on, again from the impressive Ismael A. Eventually Canterbury started to find their rhythm and by the end of the match they had won by 12 points.

The most impressive aspect of the whole day was how well the boys behaved and represented the school. Each one of them were a credit to themselves, our school and their families and we are now looking ahead to the next sporting event.
