Students in Miss Anna’s class were hard at work completing a fun and interactive Maths jigsaw activity. They were revising how to multiply and divide whole and decimal numbers by 10, 100 and 1000. Year 4 had an epic Roman Day! The children arrived at school dressed in typical Roman clothing and spent the day immersed in history. They designed and painted Roman shields, explored Roman numerals, and crafted 3D paper Roman soldiers. It was a fun and memorable day bringing the Roman era to life!

A Magical Day at Jardin de Irene!

Our Rabbits had the most wonderful time visiting Jardin de Irene in Santa Brígida! 🐇💚

They explored nature by collecting edible flowers and searching for fascinating insects.
They even got creative, baking their own flower-infused bread—what a treat!
And of course, the highlight for many was playing in the mud kitchen—messy fun at its best!

Y7 did a simple and fun practice with Skittles to understand how diffusion occurs in different media (solid, liquid and gaseous).

The aim was to understand how different substances mix and become integrated. In this case, the water has made the colourings in the sweets dissolve and their aroma can be smelled, as well as observing that these colourings do not mix because they have a different composition.#practicalscience #diffusion #science #experimentsforkids

This week, in Social Studies, Y8 and Y9 have presented work related to the last topic learned, to be displayed in the class displays. The Y8 students have worked on the topic of technology and the geographical study of the Earth and have presented some very interesting works among which it is worth mentioning the work of Max Gallego who created a video animation to explain what the Midnight Sun is and how it is produced. In the case of Y9, they worked on the theme of the Pre-Hispanic Canary Islands and created different scenes of daily life at that time where they demonstrated great creativity and great knowledge on the subject.#canariesislands #history #geography

Y12 held their second titration practising their skills for their A Level Practical exam.

They used a simple combination of acid and weak base, plus the indicator, phenolphthalein, which gives a very particular pink colour when the test is carried out successfully.

Year 2 had a beautiful sunny trip to the farm. The children enjoyed a hands-on experience, touching, stroking, feeding and mixing with the animals. We were all so surprised at how friendly and peaceful all of the animals were to us. The children smelt their way around the scent garden and ended a great day making a bracelet out of old plastic bottles and sheep wool. What a great way to end our ‘Animals’ topic. The day began with a beautiful celebration all together led by Miss Jasmin in the garden.
