Year 4 had an unforgettable trip to Palmitos Park! We enjoyed an interactive animal show, the breathtaking birds of prey display and the exciting dolphin show. Walking through tropical gardens, we saw beautiful butterflies, vibrant Amazonian birds and marine fish in the aquarium. What an amazing adventure!! #palmitospark #grancanaria

Armed with magnifying glasses, we examined the intricate details of flowers, uncovering the fascinating structures hidden within. Esta semana los alumnos de Y10 han participado en un debate sobre si el trato que reciben los inmigrantes al llegar a un país ajeno es el adecuado o no. Para ello, han trabajo en equipo, han puesto en práctica las dinámicas básicas para respetar opiniones y turnos de palabra, y al mismo tiempo intentando contener la emoción que suscitan los debates con un tema del que han disfrutado, no solo durante el debate, sino al buscar información veraz para “ganar”. Sin duda, esta actividad ha sido ¡todo un éxito!

6A have had a busy week again this week, producing lots of lovely work. We have also mixed things up with some more practical activities. In Humanities we are learning about trade and economics so we took part in a trading game to see who could buy and sell their products. In PE we have been learning about how to look after our bodies and to be safe when doing it. So we have been completing a range of exercise circuits which have been challenging but fun. #trade #economics #keepinghealthy

Year 3 had an incredible day stepping back in time as ancient Egyptians! Dressed in themed costumes, the students immersed themselves in various exciting activities. They crafted their own papyrus paper, played traditional Egyptian games and even created stunning self-portraits in Egyptian style. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed this memorable and fantastic day! #egypt #ancientegypt

Yesterday, children from Nursery sent their wishes

Yesterday, children from Nursery sent their wishes to Santa. In school, each child made a letter to Santa to tell him what they would like for Christmas. They then walked together so sensibly to the local post box to send their letters to the North Pole, with a little help from the class elves. We now wait with anticipation to see if their wishes come true.

Children starred in our Early Years Christmas Performance ‘Jack Frost,’ written and directed by our very own Miss Kelly. Suzy the Snowflake and her friends taught Frost how to show thumbs up behaviour, just like we show in Early Years, reinforcing our sayings of ‘Choose it, Use it and Put it Away,’ and ‘Sharing is Caring,’ as well as ‘Stop, Look and Listen.’ Everyone worked together to help Frost and save Christmas day. The performance ended with everyone singing and dancing together to Rock and Roll in the North Pole. What a finale! #christmasplay #jackfrost #play

Y7 students have been working, during this first t

Y7 students have been working, during this first term on the topic “The Earth, our planet”, a topic that has fascinated them. Recently, we had the opportunity to attend a conference with an astrophysicist from the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias, professor, and researcher Mr. Ignacio Trujillo. He kindly answered more than 30 questions from our students, with very didactic explanations. Among the many questions, he explained, what would happen if we got into a wormhole or if it is possible the existence of life on another planet.
Our students enjoyed the conference and learned a lot about the subject. Mr. Ignacio encouraged them to continue to maintain that critical spirit and keep asking questions, because they are the ones who could make our planet a better place.
We would like to thank Mr. Ignacio Trujillo for his informative and fascinating participation in this conference.#ourplanetdaily #astrophysics
