Remembrance Day

On November 11th, at 11am, we all observed a minute´s silence to remember those who have lost their lives in a war. Earlier in the day, the children made poppy wreaths and learnt about why poppies are worn to remember those who have fought in war.  5J´s class assembly was all about Remembrance Day so the children have a very good understanding of why November 11th is such an important day.
